We are pressing through the summer heat this week as we continue our work out on lot 86 in White Oaks. The interior theme of the home is being realized with the installation of the tile and cabinets by Britt Waller and Van Nostrand Cabinets. Our guys are also working hard to complete the front stone retaining wall this week and we can’t wait to see the upcoming changes on this home. Things are really coming together out in Tutton Hill this week as we continue our work on lot 2 and lot 35. We are excited about each house and eager to get them completed! Lot 2 is a beautiful custom home and lot 35 is a spec home that is still available for purchase. This week, we are finishing up the landscaping at lot 2, installing the granite countertops, completing the stairs, and continuing painting. Lot 35 is also rolling right along and should be completed before the end of the summer! Be sure to check out the cherry butcher block top island, unique stressed cabinetry, and Dupont Zodiac countertops in sygnus pearl in the kitchen!

It’s time to enjoy some fun in the sun! Michael and his family head to the gulf tomorrow for a well deserved five day vacation in Orange Beach, Alabama. This will be their first vacation with baby Hannah in the bunch and we wish them well! See you Wednesday Monk family!

Recently, we completed our latest home in Barkley Crest and welcomed the newest Barkley Crest neighbor to the area! This home came together beautifully and we are excited to see another young client moving in and getting settled.

Also, we are still working on our home on lot 86 White Oaks and eager to have this beautiful home competed! We are thrilled to announce that we have completed our homes on lot 86 Moore’s Mill Golf Club and lot 251 in Asheton Lakes! We are extremely pleased with the way both homes have come together, and are eager to see both families move in and enjoy their new homes.

On another note, we are looking forward to beginning a new custom home in White Oaks on lot 131 and a new spec home on an interior lot in Barkley Crest with a fantastic floor plan sure to be a hit! Check back soon for more pictures to come as these projects get under way!

We would like to give a big thank you to all the Dean Road Elementary School students for writing us all the wonderful thank you letters from career day! We enjoyed reading through them and admiring all the creative artwork! Michael was honored to be a part of such a special day and to have had the opportunity to teach young students about what it means to be a home builder. Thanks again Dean Road Elementary!

Today Michael visited with six 4th Grade classes at Dean Road Elementary School for career day. Michael had the opportunity to discuss how he became a home builder, the impact that a strong educational background has had on his life, and how he uses his education everday to read blueprints, talk with clients and contractors, and in determining the structural requirements of a home. Mike Gardner with G&G Enterprises came out as well and brought a backhoe  for all the kids to see. Boy was it a hit!  After talking with the students, they all found it exciting to learn that Michael gets to work outside and even go to lunch whenever he wants!

We are very excited to have the ball rolling at our home under construction on lot 86 White Oaks. We are currently finishing up the framing, setting the doors and windows, roughing in HVAC and plumbing, and more! Last week, Michael’s father lent us a helping hand along with Andrew and Tyler to finish up the rock wall lining the driveway.
